Dear Player,
Congratulations to all of you who played in the Easter Concert, you did fantastically! I am sure that you all want to sign up for the Summer Concert as soon as possible, so here are the details. The Summer Concert will include a performance with the winner of the Sevenoaks Young Musician of the Year 2008 (Shira Epstein, violinist) and will be the final concert in this years Sevenoaks Festival. Brynly Clarke will conduct.

* There will be a break from 4.00pm - 5.00pm during which time the Annual General Meeting will take place. Orchestral members are encouraged to attend and discuss problems or ideas under "Any Other Business" if they so wish.. (You can eat and drink during the meeting!)
Please bring food to eat in the breaks of all rehearsals.

There are still places. Its a
definite must for everyone!
· The Christmas Concert 2008 will be held at Trinity Arts Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Sunday 21st December. Rehearsals will be during the week leading up to the concert For details see under Forthcoming Concerts

Places will be given on a first-come-first-served basis from the date your application form lands on my doorstep.
Any necessary changes to the rehearsal schedule will be posted on the Lydian website (www.lydian.org.uk) one week before rehearsals start.
I hope to see you all at the rehearsals, if not before.
Please be aware that we may take group photographs. We never name players. If you or your parents do not wish you to be photographed please let me know in writing.
